Learn about open government at Interface School

We are back

Open Nebraska has been invited back to lead another half-day Intro to Civic Hacking workshop on Saturday, February 22nd, 2015 at Interface Web School and I’ll be teaching. Here’s the official abstract:

In conjunction with CodeAcross 2015 (a Code for America event) and in partnership with Open Nebraska, Interface Web School presents a half day workshop to introduce students to the foundations of civic hacking, including ideas and main concepts of using public data to create tools for citizens, and will follow with some hands-on work using public data sets.

Just like last time, the event is free and open to the public. All you need to do is register online at the Interface website.

Update, the workshop is completely full! If you didn’t make the cut, send me an email and I’ll try to sneak you in.
